About Antewise Emu
Antewise Emu is a fixes-first library for emulator problems. It exists because the most common experience of searching an emulator error is landing on a page with five paragraphs of what-an-emulator-is before the actual fix — if the fix appears at all.
How pages get written
Every page starts from a real question: a search players actually type, a "People Also Ask" box, a GitHub issue, or a forum thread. We check what currently ranks for that question, then write the version that answers it in the first sentence and proves each step with a verification criterion — what you should see when it worked.
What you will and won't find here
You will find installation fixes, error-code pages, performance tuning, controller mapping, and migration guides between emulator projects. You will not find links to keys, firmware, BIOS files, ROMs, or the tools that dump them — those can only come from hardware you own, and we don't redistribute or point at redistribution.
Project status, honestly labeled
Emulator projects get shut down, forked, and abandoned. When a project's development has ended but players still run it, we say so at the top of the page and keep the last-build guidance — clearly marked — alongside a migration path to the active fork. A page that hides a project's status wastes your time.
Corrections
Emulation moves fast. Every page shows when it was last verified, and every page has a corrections route — if something here is wrong or stale, the editorial guidelines explain how to tell us.
